Of Mt. Lebanon on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, surrounded by loving family members, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. She is survived by 2 daughters Kathy Tremblay of Mt. Lebanon and Dr. Nancy Bell of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren: David Bell of Bermuda and Susan, Danny, Steven and Douglas Tremblay of Mt. Lebanon and one great-grandson and great-granddaughter Trent and Ivy Bell of Bermuda; she is also survived by her loving sons-in-law Rich Tremblay of Mt. Lebanon and Ron Rotella of Tampa and her granddaughter-in-law Brittany Bell of Bermuda. She was preceded in death in 1982 by her beloved husband Daniel Nesbit. Dorothy was born on May 20, 1909 in Uniontown, PA. She and Dan were married in October 1943 and were devoted to each other throughout their marriage. Her strong faith was an important part of her life, and she was a dedicated involved member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church starting in 1950. The writer George Eliot said "Blessed is the influence of one's true, loving human soul on another". Her devoted family feels blessed to have been part of her remarkable life. Her beautiful spirit will live on in all who loved her so much. Friends may call LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon Saturday 2-4 and 7-9pm. She will be buried on Sunday in Uniontown, PA and a Memorial Service will be held at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church on Monday, 10am.
