Karl and Elaine Adamski of Scott Township, PA are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kimberly Marie to Christopher Michael Petro of Pottstown, PA. Chris is the son of Ronald Petro of Pottsown, PA and Sandy Petro of Holton, ME. The surprise event happened while vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC on 07-27-09. Kim's family was present to celebrate the occassion!
Kimberly is a graduate of Canevin High School and The University of Pittsburgh, where she received her Masters in Elementary Education.
She is currently a Language Arts teacher for Pottstown Middle School in Pottstown, PA. Kim is the grandaughter of the late Charles and Mary Thys of Collier Township, PA and Catherine and the late Michael Adamski of Carnegie, PA.
Chris is a graduate of Pottsgrove High School, and attented West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He is currently an instructional paraprofessional for the Perkiomen Valley School District in Collegeville, PA.
A July 9, 2011 wedding is being planned.
