Krebs Chrysler Jeep believes in treating them right

Jim Krebs has seen a lot of auto incentives offered since he graduated from Villanova University in 1976 and went to work for Chrysler Financial, but even he is impressed with “The Let’s Refuel America $2.99 Gas Guarantee.”

“Now that Chrysler LLC is privately owned,” said Krebs. “they have recruited the best talent and are doing things to reshape the industry, such as our lifetime powertrain warranty. They are indeed rededicating themselves to satisfying the customer.”

President of Krebs Chrysler Jeep on Route 8 in Glenshaw, Krebs now heads the dealership established by his late father, Bill, in 1963. “I had learned about automotive financials,” recalled Krebs, “but I had to learn about retailing cars when I came here in 1980.”

What did Krebs learn about selling cars? “Treat people the way you want to be treated.”

Krebs keeps an open-door policy at work, and employees are encouraged to make use of it. “Employees are your most important asset,” he said. “A satisfied employee is the best representative your dealership can have.” On average, the 28 employees have 20 years with the dealership.

“At our dealership we will go over your options and assist you as to whether you want to purchase or lease a new vehicle. We also have an outstanding selection of certified pre-owned vehicles. We are a five-star certified dealer, with the best products and warranties.”

Krebs has no doubt Chrysler LLC is now focused on product, and is heading in the right direction.

Not to mention the fact, he added, that Chrysler’s “Let’s Refuel America” program, which provides three years of fuel purchases at a guaranteed $2.99 per gallon, is one of the best incentives ever.
